Mapp stands for Model Approach Partnerships in Parenting. It is a 30 hour course that is required before you may foster or adopt from the Department of Children and Family Services. Our county offers this class for free twice a year. If you would like to take this course during a time when it is not offered by the state our agency offers this class every other month as needed for a nominal fee. Our staff is certified by the state of Florida to teach Mapp classes. If you would like to register for a Mapp course with us you may contact our office for available offerings.
